Summer street, where the gallery is located, was rumored to be built on an old sea wall that once protected the newly filled in marshes of Boston Harbor that now are a part of South Boston. The piece was composed of 352 circular mirrors of various sizes, mounted on springs and attached to the gallery wall. Fifty two of the mirrors had vibrating motors mounted to their backs These motors were wired to relays attached to motion sensors located outside on the sidewalk above the gallery.
